BUGATTI TYPE 35 RACER 13 1924 BUGATTI TRUST UK 2024 - WALKAROUND GALLERY
The Type 35 is perhaps the iconic Bugatti car. Built for the 1924 French Grand Prix, it has become a symbol of a golden age of motor racing. The Type 35 was so popular that a series of road cars were also built. This example was on temporary display at the Bugatti Trust museum to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Types debut at the 1924 Paris Grand Prix. This is one of the actual five cars entered in that race. This one, #13, driven by Ernest Friderich to take eighth place. I must give my thanks to the Trust for allowing me to take and share these photos.
